| Laser Lipo in London |
|
No matter how fit and active we are, or how carefully we watch what we eat, many of us have those stubborn areas that just won’t go away. It might be your tummy, back, jawline/jowl, backs of arms, hips or cellulite. Liposuction might provide an answer for larger areas, but if you wish to avoid general anaesthesia, bruising and lengthy recovery periods, Laser Lipo may be what you are looking for. The Osyris system is the 2nd generation Laser Lipo system and has an excellent safety record. As a general rule, Laser Lipo causes little discomfort, bruising or side effects and is very safe. We are proud to say 111 Harley Street is now the only reference centre for the London area for training surgeons and physicians in using the Osyris Advanced Laser Lipo system.
Most important of all - it works!...How does Advanced Laser Lipo work?Advanced Laser Lipo uses a fine cannula to deliver a safe, powerful laser to heat fat cells, causing them to break down. The fat deposits are simply disposed of naturally. Also, a cannula can be inserted to suction out the broken down fat for an immediate result. At the same time, the laser seals-off minor blood vessels and stimulates collagen production to give a smooth, sculptured finish with a tightening effect. How effective is Advanced Laser Lipo?Advanced Laser Lipo is perfect for eliminating the common ‘problem areas’... tummy, knees under-arms, buttocks, back, chin etc. The overall result depends on the severity of the area to be treated, but dramatic improvements are usually seen approximately 6 weeks after treatment - with final results in about 4 months unless a cannula is used to suck out the cells, when immediate results are seen followed by improvement over the next 6 months. How many treatments are needed? This depends on the size and severity of the area to be treated. Our surgeons will advise on this during your initial consultation. How long does each session take? One, two or three areas can be treated at a single session. Example; Lower abdomen, jawline and ‘love handles’ would be classed as three areas. This would take from 1-2 hours in the Clinic. Are there any side-effects with Advanced Laser Lipo?Minor bruising or discomfort may occur in the short term. Antibiotics may be given to prevent infection. Does Advanced Laser Lipo hurt? No. A local anaesthetic is applied to the area to be treated and the procedure is virtually painless. If conventional suction lipo is performed at the same time, there may be some discomfort. Is Advanced Laser Lipo safe?In normal circumstances there is no health risk associated with the Laser Lipo. What will Advanced Laser Lipo cost me?
Overall cost depends on the extent of the treatment. Again, this will be discussed during Am I in safe hands?Mr Alexandrides is an experienced and skilled Plastics and Reconstructive Surgeon and has worked within the Cosmetic Surgery industry for many years.
