As you grow older, have children or loose a lot of weight, your breasts may become less firm and start to sag. Massages and breast muscle exercises are no solution for this. The only way to achieve firmer breast is by having a breast lift or a nipple lift.
If the nipple is slightly lower than usual, a nipple lift may be sufficient. This would be determined through a consultation with a practitioner.
Nipple Lift – What To Expect
How Long Does the Procedure Take?
The procedure itself is performed under local anaesthetic and the procedure lasts approximately thirty minutes.
What Does the Surgery Involve?
The nipple and areola are lifted to a more natural position. The nipple is usually reconnected to the nerves and blood vessels. After a nipple lift, there is likely to be a scar around the top edge of the nipple.
What is the Recovery Period?
You may notice some bruising around your nipples after the surgery which is to be expected and will subside in approximately 10 to 14 days after the procedure.
Please note that in terms of results and expectations, there are numerous variables with every patient, each surgery and every recovery and healing period.
