Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation with Dr Yannis Alexandrides. He will take time to understand your concerns, medical history, lifestyle and desired result, alongside a detailed assessment of your body proportions, fat distribution, skin quality and the areas you would like to contour.

This allows Dr Yannis Alexandrides to determine whether VASER Liposuction is appropriate for you and create a personalised surgical plan designed to target localised fat and enhance definition while maintaining balanced, natural-looking body proportions.

Ahead of surgery, you will have a comprehensive pre-operative assessment with our nursing team. This includes a review of your medical history, current medications, lifestyle and overall health, alongside any physical assessment or clinical tests required for your individual surgical plan.

Our team will explain what to expect before and after surgery, answer any questions and ensure you are appropriately prepared for your procedure and recovery.

Good nutrition, hydration and healthy lifestyle habits can help prepare your body for surgery and support the healing process. You will receive personalised guidance on diet, medications, exercise, smoking cessation where appropriate, and practical preparation before your procedure.

Every recommendation is tailored to your individual health, lifestyle and surgical plan to ensure your preparation is appropriate for you.

Preparing the skin and tissues forms an important part of our 360° approach. Ahead of your procedure, our team may recommend a personalised programme to optimise tissue condition and prepare the areas being treated for surgery.

Where appropriate, this may include LPG Endermologie®, ElixirMD Light Therapy, 111SKIN skincare or Dr Yannis Alexandrides’ Dramatic Healing Serum, selected according to your individual skin, tissues and surgical plan.

Our care continues well beyond your procedure. Following VASER Liposuction, our clinical team will monitor your healing through scheduled reviews, with particular attention to swelling, incision sites, tissue settling and your developing body contours.

You will receive personalised guidance on compression garments, movement, activity and caring for the treated areas throughout recovery. Where appropriate, LPG Endermologie® may form part of your post-operative programme to support lymphatic drainage and tissue mobility, while ElixirMD Light Therapy, an IV drip or other post-operative support may also be recommended according to your individual recovery.

As your recovery progresses, Dr Yannis Alexandrides and our clinical team will review your body contours, symmetry, skin quality and incision sites at scheduled follow-up appointments.

Where appropriate, LPG Endermologie®, ElixirMD Light Therapy, personalised scar care, skincare or selected body treatments may be recommended to support tissue quality, scar maturation and the continued refinement of your result.

Procedure

How does Liposuction work?

Liposuction works by introducing a tumescent solution into the treatment area to minimise bleeding and improve comfort, before a fine VASER? probe uses ultrasound energy to gently separate fat cells from surrounding tissue. The emulsified fat is then removed through tiny incisions using small suction cannulas, preserving blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue. Rather than simply removing as much fat as possible, your surgeon carefully sculpts each area, paying close attention to natural transitions and body proportions.

Recovery Timeline

1–2 Weeks

Initial swelling, bruising, tenderness and tightness are expected across the treated areas and progressively subside as healing begins. Compression garments are worn as advised, with gentle walking encouraged to support circulation and personalised guidance provided on movement, caring for the treatment areas and everyday activity.

2–6 Weeks

Swelling and bruising continue to reduce and greater definition through the treated areas gradually becomes visible. Activity can progressively increase, with exercise reintroduced according to your recovery and the guidance of your surgical team. Where appropriate, LPG Endermologie® and ElixirMD Light Therapy may form part of your personalised recovery programme to support the skin and tissues as they heal.

6 Weeks–6 Months

The tissues continue to settle and the treated body contours become increasingly refined. Residual swelling progressively resolves and the skin continues to adapt to the underlying contours, with your progress monitored at scheduled follow-up appointments.

6–12 Months

The longer-term result becomes increasingly established as the tissues fully settle and incision sites continue to mature. Subtle refinement of the treated areas may continue throughout this period.

Long-Term Care

  A Wonderful Experience I decided to explore a Y Facelift after becoming increasingly unhappy with the loss of definition around my lower face. I was initially quite nervous about having facial surgery, so having a detailed consultation was really important to me. I had plastic surgery from doctor Ashvani in 2019 and he messed up my tummy completely. I lost all my sensation in my tummy area and after 7 years, I still regret of having tummy tuck with him. He stitched my whole tummy tuck area without leaving drainage after the operation. I ended up having this massive hole in my tummy area. I have the most horrible scars and I don’t wear bikini for not showing my belly button. You can see how bad his stitches are from the photo. Please do your research before you trust him so you don’t regret like I did. My friend had similar operation in Turkey and you would not even notice she had plastic surgery.my advice is  go to Turkey to have proper plastic surgery with surgeons who knows how do operate.
