“My preferred technique is to use specially designed small cannula. Using the tumescent technique where the first step to injecting the fat in that area with fluid that can restrict the loss of blood. It makes the operation comfortable to be performed under local anaesthesia. During this procedure, I have two small entry points – one under the chin and one behind the ear, which allows me to cover the full area under the jaw and not just the area under the chin – This gives better definition and better skin contraction and creates a very nice border of the jawline.”

We encourage patients to stretch (mainly the neck area) and have a lymphatic drainage massage post-surgery to improve the results. While swelling can last up to 2-3 weeks, you can see results almost instantly. For best results, this will be seen 3-6 months after the procedure.
