Dr Yannis’ 2026 Predictions for Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery

As we enter 2026, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr Yannis Alexandrides reflects on another year in aesthetics, wellness and, of course, plastic surgery and what he expects to see more of in the new year.

Amongst his 2026 predictions are treatments already on offer at his world renowned 111 Harley St. clinic, ground-breaking technologies and buzz words such as Exosomes, that we heard so much about in 2025.

    Cold Fiber Laser Treatments

Laser treatments have been popular for many years in various forms, and 111 Harley St. has led the way with lasers remaining a staple in their treatment menu. The latest addition is cold fiber laser, in particular, UltraClear – dubbed ‘the future of skin remodelling’ – tackles a multitude of skin concerns and is used, both in combination with surgery, and as a standalone, non-surgical offering.

The highly advanced laser uses laser-coring techniques to resurface, remodel and renew skin is the first and only cold, ablative, fractional MIDIR 2910 nm Fiber Laser using 3DIntelliPulse technology. Results are truly transformative and come with minimal downtime compared to other resurfacing options available. The cold fiber laser precisely vaporises dull, damaged skin cells on the surface whilst treating the deeper dermal layers with controlled thermal energy.

This process enhances the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid for firmer, clearer, and smoother skin with a significantly reduced recovery period. Dr Yannis predicts that the technology with gain significantly in popularity throughout 2026 due to the exceptional results that can be achieved without compromising on patient results.

    Skin Longevity

Long known for taking the least invasive approach and a dedication to long-lasting results, Dr Yannis is certain that the move towards regenerative treatments that increase skin quality will continue into the new year. Strengthening the skin and improving quality serves to delay concerns such as lines, wrinkles and crepiness that occur with age.

A buzzword throughout 2025, exosomes continue to gain in popularity along with other regenerative treatments such as polyneucleotides to regenerate collagen and elastin, and as an alternative to dermal filler. Dr Yannis was so impressed with the exosomes results achieved for patients at his clinic, 111 Harley St., that he was inspired to develop the 111SKIN Exosomes Face Lift, an exceptional product duo designed to be used at home over the course of 4 weeks – and the perfect homecare to compliment to in-clinic treatments such as those offered. The products have a unique microspicule delivery system that delivers active ingredients twice as deep into the skin* for a more effective application.

In addition to the regenerative treatments, as a Plastic Surgeon, Dr Yannis provides advanced procedures such as Nanografting to utilise the patients own growth factors and stem cells to strengthen the skin with stunningly natural results that stand the test of time. As the aesthetic landscape evolves, his clinic, 111 Harley St. continues to offer the services of a Consultant Nutritionist alongside their advanced procedures, with Dr Yannis believing firmly in the role the correct nutritional intake plays in the longevity of the skin.

Bespoke Treatment Plans vs Standard Treatment Menus

Not new for 2026, but undoubtedly more important than ever, are the bespoke treatment plans Dr Yannis confirms we will see into January and beyond. The standard treatment menu and a ‘one size fits all’ approach is now extremely dated and irrelevant in 2026.

Under Dr Yannis’ guiding hand, leading clinic, 111 Harley St. has offered a 360-degree approach to aesthetics and plastic surgery for almost 25 years. Dr Yannis says ‘a combination of factors and techniques help achieve the best outcome. Creating an immediately visible result is something many treatments can do, but results can be short-lived and knowing the right combination of treatments and products to generate a long-term effect that improves over time is an art that only comes with experience’.

Himself and his clinic team work closely with patients from the consultation and throughout the time under the care of the clinic. They carefully consider all options allowing them to curate unique plans for each patient who visits the long established address. Plans encompass the latest advancements in aesthetic technologies, injectables, surgical procedures and extend to nutritionist services and Vitamin IV Drips, in addition to the science-backed 111SKIN products inspired by the clinic’s patients.

    Evolving Facelift Techniques

Dr Yannis is best known for his Deep Plane Facelift results and the Y Facelift technique he personally pioneered. Recently back from Brazil where he lectured on the Deep Plane technique sharing his secrets with surgeons from around the world, plus performed live surgeries showcasing his expertise. Dr Yannis has been awarded numerous accolades and is known globally for the results he accomplishes. He predicts techniques will continue to evolve, and the multifaceted approach he favours, will be adopted by more surgeons.

The Deep Plane technique is already incredibly advanced, and a far cry from the early facelifting techniques from years ago, thanks to the way it lifts the layers of the face as a whole, repositioning them and

achieving incredibly natural outcome for patients. Dr Yannis takes the technique to the next level building treatments such as LED therapy, Endermologie and ablative resurfacing lasers that encourage deep skin renewal into his patient plans.

In addition to the consultation, which is a highly important part of the process, he says, ‘The best outcomes involve a multifaceted approach. Prepping the skin and body ahead of time for recovery and healing processes is important. The surgery itself must be performed with precision and the correct technique. Then comes recovery. I like to use different technologies to accelerate the healing process and diminish the signs of scarring, along with treating concerns such as pigmentation that surgery alone cannot address’.

Nanografting & Biological Skin Improvement Procedures

Dr Yannis has long been a fan of Micrografting incorporating it into his facial procedures. He now predicts a rise in demand for Nanografting, a technique he uses on 111 Harley St. patients with great success.

Micrografting utilises the body’s own fat cells to replenish areas that have suffered a loss of volume from ageing or weight loss, whilst Nanografting is able to futureproof the skin with biological improvements. The process is similar for both Micrografting and Nanografting, both use the patients own biocompatible fat, however the latter breaks the fat down further before reinjecting the stem cells and growth factors to the required area for natural results that improve skin quality.

Dr Yannis’ 360-degree approach has always encompassed non-surgical treatments to assist with recovery for a more comfortable patient experience, better healing and elevated overall outcomes. He predicts 2026 will see further advancements in plastic surgery practices.

    Next Level Surgical Recovery

He has personally already introduced the Elixir MD as the latest addition to his pre and post-surgery protocols. The device, which is now incorporated into patient plans, utilises advanced photobiomodulation technology to infuse energy into the skin with varying light wavelengths for seamless and swift surgical healing.

The technology forms part of 111 Harley St.’s commitment to superior patient outcomes, which begins ahead of their procedure with pre-op protocols that utilise blue light to reduce bacterial load, such as oils, toxins and secretions to fortify skin ahead of surgery; and post-op protocols suited to all skin types 1-6 on the Fitzpatrick scale.

Alongside the Endermologie treatments, Vitamin IV Drips and numerous other non-surgical treatments, the Elixir MD forms part of the pre and post surgery protocols the clinic uses to ensure superior results for patients from their plastic surgery procedures.
