This guide outlines what you can expect at every stage of your surgical timeline when choosing a luxury aesthetic clinic on Harley Street.

Step One: Your Plastic Surgery Enquiry

During this initial contact, we aim to understand:

Step Two: Your Consultation

The consultation is one of the most important parts of the entire surgical process. At 111 Harley St., consultations are intentionally more in-depth than many standard cosmetic clinics. Ahead of the consultation, we will ask you to complete a medical questionnaire which will be passed to your surgeon.

During your consultation, your surgeon will:

At our clinic, all plans are created using The 111 Method, which considers Dr Yannis’ 360 degree approach to plastic surgery and means that we advise on a variety of elements that all come together to achieve the best result possible – this can include lifestyle, nutrition, skincare, and treatments to prepare and strengthen the skin ahead of surgery, as well as those that assist with a smoother recovery.

Step Three: Surgical Planning Appointment

Following  your consultation, you will see our Surgical Management Team, usually on the same day as you see the surgeon. They will be able to talk through any questions you may have about planning your surgery, along with payment options and other information you need to know before surgery day. They will also book your dedicated pre-operative appointment.

For those having Facelifts, we also book a Skin Diagnostic Scan which will give your surgeon further insights into your skin and the ways we can achieve the best outcome from your surgery – for example, sun damage cannot be treated with a facelift alone, however the addition of a laser treatment such as UltraClear in your treatment plan would mean elevating your results further.

Step Four: Pre-Operative Appointment

This appointment will be with an experienced Surgical Nurse and is an important step.

At this stage, we will take:

• Measurements and photography of the area to be operated on
• Blood tests and medical clearance
• Consent documentation
• Recovery and aftercare instructions
• Medication guidance

You will be advised on the best way to prepare for your procedure including skin preparation and any products to use in advance of your surgery – this is important as it optimises the skin for healing. Alongside skincare products, you may be advised on a personalised plan for non-surgical treatments such as Elixir MD, Endermologie or IV Vitamin Drips which are often incorporated into our treatment plans in preparation for surgery.

Patients are also advised on how to optimise healing before surgery, including hydration, nutrition, stopping smoking and modifying activity such as exercise and work routines during recovery.

This preparation stage is essential for achieving the safest possible outcome and the best aesthetic result.

Step Four: Surgery Day

On the day of surgery, patients are welcomed into either our 111 Harley St. clinic, or one of our private partner hospitals – the location will have been discussed during your Surgical Planning Appointment and will depend on the exact procedure you are having.

Unlike high-volume surgical centres, our approach prioritises privacy and individual attention.

Your surgical day typically includes:
