During your consultation, one of our certified Nurse Practitioners will assess your suitability for treatment and discuss your treatment goals. This is often considered an eye lid tightening treatment, however, it also has plenty of other rejuvenating benefits.

On the day of the treatment, you can expect to come to our 111 Harley St. clinic or our Devonshire Place clinic – which is just a quick two minute walk from the red door you know and love.

You’ll quickly fill out a consent form before beginning the treatment. Then, topical anaesthetic cream or gel is applied to the area beforehand to reduce the risk of any discomfort. Due to the nature of the treatment, of the heat and laser technology used, there may be a slight burning smell but this is completely normal. You may require more than one treatment but you will be advised on this during the consultation stage.

This is a great and effective treatment for those wanting to tighten and lift affected areas and isn’t subject to any age or skin concern.

The treatment requires no cutting or stitching of the area and is possible through the ionisation of plasma, instantly contracting and tightening the skin’s fibres.

It uses heat energy to alter the skin’s physical state. Afterwards, minimal scabbing will occur which will flake off after a few days after the treatment. It’s once this healing has been completed you will see the area is tighter, rejuvenated, and lifted.

We always advise our patients to never touch the treatment area for around 5-7 days as this can cause infection. The treatment area should only be touched during cleaning where we recommend light cleansing with an antiseptic solution or something similar.

Results can be seen immediately after the treatment as the treated area will appear lifted, tightened and reduced. The areas will continue to improve for up to 3 months with the final results taking shape following 1 month after your last session.

Immediately after the treatment a scab or crust may appear over the treated area, this is
completely normal. The crusts formed must not be scratched, rubbed or removed. This is the main, visible symptom you may experience. Other side effects may include mild swelling and discomfort for a few days afterwards.

A standard treatment lasts between 20-30 minutes. This can depend on the size of the treatment area as smaller areas often take less time.

Usually 1-2 sessions depending on the area which will be determined in your consultation.

This is considered a painful treatment, however this can vary from patient to patient. As the device moves over your skin you may occasionally hear a zapping noise which may surprise you or make you feel uncomfortable.

We will always do what we can to make your experience as enjoyable as possible – we have a range of techniques to help put you at ease, such as numbing cream, stress balls and a vibrating T-bar to help distract you.
