At 111 Harley St., we believe in a non-surgical approach where possible. With highly-advanced technology and techniques, and exceptionally talented surgeons and practitioners, our treatments can often rival surgical results without the need for more invasive surgical procedures. Should you require surgery, you can rest assured that you’ll receive an unparalleled level of attention, safety and care. We continually develop our procedures to minimise downtime and recovery for our patients.

Migraines Migraines

Migraines

Migraines can sometimes be debilitating. Botox can relax the muscles around the head and helps to prevent the nerve signals sending ‘pain messages’. It can also alleviate the associated symptoms of migraines such as nausea, and light, sound and smell sensitivity. The treatment can be suitable for chronic episodes, but you may need to seek your GP’s advice before considering this course of action.

The process begins with a consultation where we will discuss your reason for treatment and determine whether you are a suitable candidate.

The practitioner will make a series of injections to administer the substance. We can apply a topical anaesthetic to minimise discomfort. The unit will vary depending on the size of the area and the severity of the concern. You may feel a very slight scratch as the injections enter the skin.

In some cases, the nurse may inject a lower dosage than initially expected – this is standard practice when treating forehead wrinkles, particularly if you have a small forehead. It is essential to assess how your muscles react to the treatment to avoid eyebrow or eyelid drooping. Your nurse will discuss a follow-up appointment to administer the rest of the Botox.

The nurse or doctor will make a series of injections surrounding pain fibres that cause the headaches into the nerve endings. By blocking these nerve endings, it interferes with the chemicals that the brain associates with pain.

Botox for migraines can take a few weeks to start working, and you may experience a migraine in the meantime. You may require a top-up Botox session that the nurse or Doctor would repeat around three months after your initial Botox treatment.

No, there is no downtime, but you may experience slight bruising at the injection site.

Chin Implant London Double Chin

Double Chin

A double chin can occur due to a combination of excess fat and skin, and ageing. The weakening of elasticity can contribute to loose skin under the chin, and sometimes genetics can play a part in fat settling there. Aqualyx injections will dissolve fat in this area, while our Accent Skin Tightening treatment will chisel and contour the jawline for more definition.

Your treatment programme will begin with a consultation where one of our highly experienced aestheticians will determine your suitability for treatment and discuss what the programme involves, as well as your treatment goals.

The handpiece used will depend on the size of the areas that require treatment. Larger areas such as the stomach, thighs and buttocks require a larger handpiece. The aesthetician will place lubrication on the treatment area and will perform several passes over the area with the smooth plate.

The results can be visible after just one treatment, but we recommend a course of 4-6 treatments for optimal results. Results vary from patient to patient, but we recommend a ‘booster session’ every six months to continually improve the results.

Accent uses radiofrequency, delivering a thermal shock within the tissue – this causes the skin to contract, simultaneously promoting the growth of new collagen for firmer and tighter skin.

Additionally, ultrasound targets fat cells and disrupts them through shear wave vibrations. This process causes the fat cell membranes to break down, leaving the surrounding tissue unharmed, while the fat cells are removed through the lymphatic system. Metabolism increases following fat destruction.

We recommend 4-6 treatments to see optimal results. Every 1-2 weeks.

Endermologie Skin Tightening London Bloating

Bloating

Endermologie uses a suction and rolling device to improve the tonicity of the skin and boost circulation for lymphatic drainage. The treatment can focus on specific areas of stubborn fat or cellulite, as well as reducing bloating and fluid retention.

If you’re having the treatment on your body, we will require you to purchase your own Endermologie suit before treatment. You must wash this suit at home and bring it with you to every session.

During the treatment, we will roll the device over the treatment area. The device sucks the skin, as the roller massages the tissue.

Improvement in skin radiance can be seen immediately after a treatment, with improved hydration. Depending on your specific skin concerns, you should expect to see improvement following a course of treatments.

Approximately 50 minutes depending on the treatment area.

8–10 initially, and once a month after completion of the course. Initially, several treatments can be had on a weekly basis, or once or twice a week. After the initial course, monthly treatments will help to maintain results.
