The Pre-Op Protocol

Detox™ emits a blue-light to reduce bacterial load, such as oils, toxins and secretions. This is essential part of the preparation stage, where the subcutaneous tissue in the skin is fortified ahead of surgery. Typically, a single 20-minute treatment is required to prepare the skin effectively.

How does this work?

Elixir’s Detox™ therapy utilises intense and focused blue PBM energy at a wavelength of 417nm and works on several key biological process: primarily targeting the skin’s harmful bacteria and sebaceous glands.

The biggest benefits:

The Post-Operative Protocol

Cellular Repair™ utilises an intense, focused yellow light (599nm) for post-operative healing. It works to reduce bruising and swelling, as well as initiate lymphatic system drainage. Typically, five 20-minutes treatments are required for optimum effect.

How does this work?

Elixir Cellular™ uses a 599nm light to promote tissue repair, reduce inflammation, bruising, swelling and improve overall skin recovery after surgery. The light is able to penetrate 0.5-2mm into the skin, where it is then absorbed by chromophores in the cell membranes. This stimulates biochemical reactions that promote tissue repair without causing thermal damage.

The biggest benefits are:

The Maintenance Protocol
