What happens during an Enerpeel treatment?
An enerpeel is a chemical exfoliation skin peel which exfoliates the skin at different depths. What to expect after your Enerpeel?
It is common to experience itching, tingling or mild heat during the peel procedure with localised redness, mild swelling and mild peeling of the skin that can occur post-treatment; however, this should last no more than 24 hours. You may experience dryness, flaking of the skin for up to 7 days after your Enerpeel (but this depends on the peel depth). Some minor scabbing and scaling may occur when deeper peels are performed, which should heal by itself in 7-10 days post-treatment.
A Recommended Skincare Routine Post-Treatment?
Any skincare products containing Vitamin A or acids should be avoided for at least seven days post-treatment or until any peeling has resolved.
Do not pick or scratch at the skin for 10-14 days post-treatment.
Avoid waxing or any other hair removal process and avoid other facial treatments, including exfoliation.
Recommended products post-treatment include: Tebiskin Sooth Clean, Tebiskin LC lotion, and UV soothe.
Depending on your skin condition, either OSK or soothe lotions should be used.
