What is the 8 Point Face Lift?

The 8-point facelift is where 8 points of the face are targeted to give more volume and rejuvenate skin. This is a non-invasive procedure performed using Dermal Fillers – The dermal fillers used to contain the naturally occurring substance ‘hyaluronic acid’ which provides hydration for the skin. The body’s hyaluronic acid levels deplete with age, contributing to the onset of wrinkles, dehydrated skin, and loss of volume. Hyaluronic acid fillers can restore lost facial volume, smooth lines, and plump facial hollows for a more youthful appearance.

Procedure

The procedure will take approximately 30 minutes and involves the fillers being injected into 8 different points of the face – Upper Face (forehead, Temples) Mid Face (Cheeks, Nose, Crow’s Feet), and Lower Face (Jawline, Chin, Mouth)

Anaesthetic cream is applied topically and so it is likely you will only experience a bit of discomfort.

Downtime

There is very little downtime with this procedure – You may experience swelling and bruising around the injection site which should subside with a week.

Results

Dermal fillers are non-permanent with results lasting between 4-9 months depending on your metabolism and the type of filler. It is important to note that Hyaluronic acid fillers like Juvéderm and Restylane are dissolvable with hyaluronidase (Hyalase).
