Experienced and Highly Trained for Delicate Procedures
Patients who are dissatisfied with the results of a nose remodelling / rhinoplasty procedure, often find that their original surgeon is unwilling to correct the issues.
Our Medical Director Dr Yannis Alexandrides has considerable experience in revision rhinoplasty and is one of a select group of surgeons who are able to correct the outcomes of unsuccessful surgeries for the past 20 years. Typical problems that he is asked to address include issues with symmetry. Asymmetrical outcomes can result in visible alterations to the facial balance, as well as it’s ability to form normal expressions and breathing difficulties.
Dr Alexandrides’ extensive training as a board-certified reconstructive craniofacial surgeon has enabled him to master primary bone grafting and tissue replacement techniques. These are critical to the delivery of successful revision rhinoplasty surgery. He is also able to treat congenital or acquired conditions connected to the nose.
Revision surgery is considerably more complex than original Rhinoplasty. It can be conducted no earlier than six months after the initial procedure. This is the time required for the nose to fully recover from initial surgery. It also allows any issues connected with it to become fully apparent. Despite its complexity patients can still expect to be back at work a week after surgery.
Dr Alexandrides not only does he understand and empathise with the anxiety around unsuccessful surgery. He also has the expertise to correct problems and provide results that will finally satisfy patients. 111 Harley St. now offers 3D modelling consultation to help you visualise what’s possible. Patients should be aware that this is a very complex procedure. We strive to ensure that you are delighted with the results once and for all. This service is at no extra cost from a regular consultation with our surgeon and is available most days at our central London clinic.
