Ms Nada grew up in several countries including Saudi Arabia, Greece, the US, and the UK, with her journey having given her an keen interest in global healthcare and taken her to locations such as Rwanda, Somaliland, China, Gaza, and Lebanon. She has studied Arabic and Chinese to further broaden her perspective and deepen her connection to diverse cultures.
A distinguished Plastic Surgeon with a deep and research-led understanding of complex body contouring, Ms Nada’s expertise is underpinned by a Medical Doctorate (MD) from the University of Edinburgh. During her time studying she honed her expertise in this area and specialised in Massive Weight Loss Surgery (MWL) and co-authored the national commissioning guidance for the UK in this field.
Throughout her career, female Plastic Surgeon, Ms Nada Al-Hadithy has published 35 papers and in excess of 75 national and international presentations on the subject of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Her extensive knowledge and experience has played a pivotal role in shaping patient care beyond outside the operating theatre leading to the development of innovative treatment pathways.
She is an award-winning educator, honoured with the Teacher of the Year Award at Oxford University Medical School, testament to her commitment to the field and future generations of medical professionals. She has also held positions as an honorary lecturer and anatomy demonstrator at University College London (UCL), and continues to be highly active in medical education globally.
Through her work with King’s Global Health Partnership and MedicineAfrica, Ms Nada has helped to deliver over 100,000 hours of surgical and medical teaching, with her dedication to health and equitable access to high-quality care worldwide.
