Some men may find it challenging to define, enhance, or build the chest area despite diet and exercise. If you feel self-conscious or cannot achieve the desired result after years of trying, then pectoral implants may be the treatment you need to achieve your goals.
Pectoral Implants are different to the breast implants used on women; pectoral implants are designed to imitate the look and feel of the pectoralis muscle compared to the softer breast tissue of women. They create a more symmetrical, defined and muscular appearance with the size and shape determined at the consultation stage.
You are placed under general anaesthesia as a surgical procedure whilst the implant is inserted. The doctor determines the position of the insert and the desired result you require but typically through the armpit to mask the incision.
Aftercare and potential side effects?
As a surgical treatment, you are to be held overnight to ensure there are no reactions or leakages once the implant is inserted. You will be given pain relief to help with any discomfort, and your recovery time can take any time from 2 weeks to 6 weeks to recover post-operation. We also strongly advise against any exercise during this period to avoid any ruptures or tears whilst healing.
We understand that any surgery is a difficult decision to weigh up, and if you have any concerns, we strongly recommend seeking advice and expertise from our team at 111HARLEY ST.
