What is ADVATx?

ADVATx employs the most sophisticated technology to not only deliver painless rejuvenation, but also multiple stand-alone treatments and therapies allowing the Aesthetician to help you address multiple concerns in single treatment or course of treatments. It’s the world’s only medical, dual laser producing both 589nm and 1319nm wavelengths for a customisable treatment that can target acne, acne scars, melasma, rosacea vascular concerns, redness, sun damage and wrinkles, plus it’s able to shrink pore size and limit oil production and improve both tone and texture.

As this device emits both 589 and 1319nm nanometres this means that it has two settings and can treat the skin using single-spot or fractionated delivery. The first setting is a high-powered yellow and infrared laser to improve skin tone texture and overall dermal health by targeting the vascular components of melasma, sun damage and unwanted pigment. Alongside these benefits it also reduces the appearance of wrinkles, limits oil production and shrinks pore size. This iconic laser is known for the distinctly bright light it emits during the treatment.

The second setting, delivers multiple pulses of energy in a single targeted spot. This means that it can treat veins without causing trauma to the surrounding tissue. It is also delivered as a continuous wave, allowing for controlled, gradual bulk heating of tissue for optimal fibroblastic production and reduction of sebum formed sebaceous glands – making it an amazing acne treatment too.

What’s so great about ADVATx?

We think it’s one of the best lasers for the face and are calling our all-in-one treatments for the face, hands and more. It’s so cutting edge in its technology that it has been additionally heralded in NewBeauty has the ‘safest and most effective’ laser for dark skin tones as it has been approved for use on all Fitzpatrick scale skin types.

Some other great benefits of it are that it is virtually painless (while having ADVATx one of our patient’s notably said that during an intensive treatment, her skin felt ‘spicy’) so you can expect some heat during the treatment, but aside from that it’s considered an extremely comfortable treatment.

Another benefit? It has zero downtime. If you’re choosing to treat a more chronic skin concern, such as acne or rosacea, you can expect a small amount of redness afterwards, but this should go down rapidly so you can continue your daily activities.

For general rejuvenation it’s also a winner, whether you’re preparing your skin before a big event or just incorporating it into your weekly or monthly self-care routine.

It’s definitely worth learning more about ADVATx and speaking to our team to help you explore all your rejuvenating options.

Are All Lasers Created Equal?

While this may not be the case, we fully adore the results these devices produce so while they may not be created equal, there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to treating the skin. To decide for yourself, you can speak to our skin experts to help you craft a treatment plan that works for you and your skin only.
