Uneven Skin Tone

Uneven Skin Tone Options

Prevention plays a crucial role in keeping your complexion even. You should always wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen (protecting you from both UVA and UVB rays). Ideally, you should wear SPF 50 on your face, neck and chest. Laser treatments can improve the skin tone by dispersing and fragmenting the darker patches, while skin peels will remove the damaged surface layers. Our IPL system, or Cynosure laser works well to treat the redness. Dr Yannis also recommends the use of our 111SKIN Vitamin C Brightening Booster.

DYE-VL

DYE-VL

This photofacial treatment is particularly beneficial for those who have pigmentation or sunspots due to sun exposure. The treatment works by targeting discolouration of the skin to make the complexion more even. IPL can target absorb redness, broken capillaries or blotchiness through using a range of wavelengths.

3-4 treatments, every 6 weeks.

Each treatment can be adjusted depending on the patient’s needs and skincare concerns. The flawless treatment delivers nanosecond pulses sending controlled shockwaves into the pigmented and vascular lesions.

Potential redness, blood spots and swelling. The skin may be slightly swollen on the treated areas immediately after the treatment.

Immediately after the treatment the treated area may be slightly tender and raised. You may also see some blood spots around the treated area. The overall downtime is around 5-7 days.

Clear Lift ClearLift

ClearLift

ClearLift is a gentle yet effective laser treatment for uneven skin tone. The narrowband spectrum of light energy can also treat smaller and more delicate areas of the face where pigmentation may occur, such as around the eyes or above the lips. It provides consistent and accurate results and is suitable for all skin types.

During your consultation, one of our certified laser aestheticians will assess your suitability for treatment and discuss your treatment goals and conditions.

This treatment is painless, and the aesthetician will make a few passes over the treatment area with a hand-held device. You may feel a slight warm zap in sensitive areas. You will require several treatment sessions to benefit from the optimal effects that ClearLift offers.

The treatment takes from around 20 minutes to an hour.

The Clearlift Treatment uses Harmony XL Pro laser and a fractional Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser with near infrared technology. The device disperses pixelated energy at a depth of 3mm into the skin to create a controlled process of damaging and healing. This triggers the skin to remodel itself without causing visible damage to the surface layers.

We recommend 4-6 treatment sessions.

iPixel iPixel

iPixel

The fractional ablative laser resurfaces the skin for an overall improvement in hyperpigmentation, age spots and sunspots. The treatment creates pixel-sized dots in a controlled method of damage, leaving the remaining skin intact while the treated areas remodel. This process allows the skin to recover much faster than previous fractional laser treatments.

Your consultation will determine your suitability for treatment.

The nurse will apply a numbing cream to minimise discomfort during treatment. We will configure the depth depending on the area and concern, and the device will make a few passes over your skin, delivering bursts of energy.

After the iPixel treatment, you may notice square formations with tiny pinprick dots on the skin. The nurse will apply a topical serum to minimise these marks.

The fractional ablative laser treatment delivers precise beams of energy in a pixel-size formation to target specific cells. The surrounding cells remain intact, which speeds up healing. The heat from the energy destroys the injured or damaged cells and stimulates collagen production to remodel and fill in the area with new healthy cells.

Most patients require 4-8 sessions. One session every 4-6 weeks depending on the severity of the skin concern.

Numbing cream is applied for 20 minutes, followed by the treatment, which takes approximately 30 minutes.
